Thank you so much for the marvelous tour of this remarkable land.  I keep recalling the different fascinating sights and stories.  You do a wonderful job of making the history come to life–seeing the places and learning of the events.  And I loved how you told the story of the Portugese rout in the beginning and then as we came back around told HOW they were pushed out.

At last I can catch up on my emails!! Thank YOU so so much for doing such a great job with Brooke and Naghmeh. You really made their experience of Cape Town a hugely memorable one. They loved all your stories and facts and figures and were very very impressed and very appreciative of all your efforts in covering so much distance and history. I did drive them out to Spier and Vredenheim yesterday and they liked seeing the lions and cheetahs and the birds of prey etc. Thanks for that recommendation. In fact we had tea and cheesecake at Vredenheim too.

Look forward to catching up with you and Claire soon.
